There is scientific agreement that pesticides are dangerous and are linked to a variety of health problems for people. Every year, the Environmental Working Group researches which fruits and vegetables have the most pesticides and creates a guide for shoppers with their results. The “Dirty Dozen” are the twelve fruits and vegetables with the highest levels of pesticides and that the EWG advises you avoid or to only eat organic. The “Clean Fifteen” are the fifteen fruits and vegetables with the lowest levels of pesticides that the EWG suggests as healthy alternatives.
