Staff Training Sessions on Group Management, Questioning Strategies, and Blending Jewish and Scientific Learning
These training sessions were implemented during the Spring 2017 Outdoor Education Staff Training weekend, at Tamarack Camps. The participants were ages 19 to 70+ (largely ages 19-25), and ranged in experience levels from brand new to very experienced (largely new). These staff training sessions focus on essential skills for the educators that work at Tamarack Camps during our Outdoor Education seasons: facilitating meaningful discussions with students, and managing groups of a variety of sizes, especially large groups (which we consider to be over 30).
This resource was prepared by Bailey Lininger as part of the JOFEE Fellowship.
